PS Vilgam arrests one peddler, narcotics recovered

Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested one peddler and recovered narcotics in Vilgam area.

On March 10.2023, a police party of Police Station Vilgam, while on naka duty at Village Hardoona, apprehended one person who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner.

On search, around 10 grams of Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from his possession. The person has been identified as Abdul Jabar Zargar S/o Abdul Gani R/o Hardoona.

In relation to this, FIR No.18/2023 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act registered in PS Vilgam and investigation initiated.
