Ladakh: A team of Press Information Bureau (PIB) Jaipur today held an interactive session with the students of Government Degree College Drass at the college campus.
The session started with a formal welcome speech and a short briefing about the various infrastructural works ongoing at the college new campus by the Principal, GDC Drass, Dr Amjad Ali.
Stanzin Angmo, AE&CO DIPR Leh, briefly talked about the purpose of the session and Pawan Singh, Deputy Director PIB Jaipur introduced the media persons to the audience.
Students of different semesters enthusiastically took part and asked questions. Students expressed their views over developments post-formation of UT in Ladakh in general and Drass region in particular.
Many students asked questions to the media persons regarding their perception about post – UT Ladakh and Drass. Singh and his team shared their experiences and views about Ladakh in detail.
After concluding the session in the hall, one-to-one interaction between students and media persons was held at the college ground.
The media team also visited Atal Tinkering Laboratory of Govt. Higher Secondary School Drass and interacted with school staff and students.
Later, the team visited the ongoing construction site of the college administrative/academic blocks and hostels at upper Goshan Drass.
