JKBOSE has invited Scholarship Applications from the Jammu and Kashmir students.
The Notification read Applications are invited from all the students studying in Class 10th in Govt./Private recognized schools affiliated with JKBOSE/CBSE/ICSE who are eligible to appear for Stage-1 National Talent Search Examination(NTSE) session 2021-22 to be conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education tentatively scheduled to 16th January 2022(Sunday).
Eligibility for JKBOSE Scholarship
Applicant must have secured 60% marks (5% relaxation for OBC/ST/SC/EWS/PHC category) in class 9th and due for appearing in ensuring class 10th Annual examination i.e. March 2022 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
Students registered under Open Distance learning (ODL) are also eligible for the Scholarship. Students should be below the age of 18 years (as of 1st July 2021). There will be no domicile restriction.
Selection Process
- Stage – 1
Selection will be done by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education and those who are selected/recommended from Stage -1 examination against the allotted quota of 63 for J&K UT and 20 for Ladakh UT in order of Merit, will be eligible for Stage – 2 (National Level) examination to be conducted by NCERT.
Reservation details
- 15% for SC
- 7.5% for ST
- 27% for OBC
- 10% for EWS
- 4% for Specially abled children
JKBOSE Scholarship per Month
About 2 thousand Scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as shown below:
- Scholarship of Rs. 1250 per month for Class 10th to 12th
- Scholarship of Rs. 2000 per month for undergraduates & postgraduates
- The amount of Scholarship for a Ph.D. shall be fixed in accordance with UGC norms.

The application forms duly attested by the concerned Head of the Institution and accompanied with the requisite documents (Marks Certificate and reserved category certificate, if any) along with pay in a slip of 210 (Rupees two hundred and ten only) favoring Liasion officer, NTSE to be deposited in JK Bank A/C No. 0547010100000002, Branch JKBOSE Bemina, Srinagar IFSC Code JAKAOEXAMBER, must reach CDR Wing, JKBOSE New Campus Bemina, Srinagar/Rehari Colony, Jammu/Sub/Branch Offices of JKBOSE by or before 28th November 2021.
