DC Kupwara administers oath to Ms. Amina Majeed for taking charge as DDC Member Drugmulla

KUPWARA : District Administration Kupwara organized an oath taking ceremony for newly elected member for District Development Council (DDC) constituency Drugmulla, here today.

Chairman DDC Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori; Deputy Commissioner Kupwara (District Election Officer), Doifode Sagar Dattatray; Vice Chairman DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir; ADDC Kupwara, ADC, JD Planning, besides, DDC Members, BDC Chairpersons and PRIs were present at the occasion.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner administered oath to the newly elected DDC Member, Ms. Amina Majeed for assuming the charge of the DDC Constituency Drugmulla. He congratulated the DDC Member for her new assignment.
The Chairman DDC in his address welcomed the new DDC Member of Drugmulla constituency and expressed his satisfaction over the conduct of free and fair election in the district.
The Vice Chairman DDC expressed his good wishes to the newly elected DDC member and said that the council alongwith the new entrant will work together for the development of Kupwara district.
Ms. Amina Majeed also spoke and expressed her gratitude towards the District Administration for conducting peaceful election in the district. She expressed her satisfaction over assuming the charge as DDC Member Drugmulla and said that participation of women in the democratic process shows the success of women empowerment.
Various DDC Members and BDC Chairpersons also spoke and welcomed the DDC member Drugmulla for assuming the charge of the DDC Constituency.
