Kargil, 3 Dec 2022:-An Awareness Programme on one day Health and hygiene for adolescent girls was held Government Higher Secondary School Lankerchey Kargil on Saturday.
On this Occasion Principal of Govt HSS Lankerchey Sadiq Ali, Dr. Nasreen fatima gynaecologist obstetrician of CHC Sankoo, Teaching Staff’s,and a large number girl students of Govt. Higher Secondary School Lankerchey were imparted awareness on issues related to menstrual health and hygiene.
During the course pogramme the resource Person Dr. Nasreen fatima gynaecologist obstetrician of Community Health CenterSankoo underlined the importance of girls knowing how to manage their personal hygiene in particular during their periods to avoid infections.
She said menstruation only becomes a problem when people refuse to regard it as a normal function of the female human body.
She further delivered an awareness lecture and emphasized on the importance of menstruation health right is human right issue through a power point presentation.
