The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) has expressed its strong displeasure over the selection of APTECH company for conducting Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) exams by the authorities. The party’s chief spokesperson, Salman Nizami, has criticized the move, saying that the selection of the company is a violation of rules and regulations, and it is a matter of concern for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Salman Nizami said that the selection of APTECH company is alarming for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir since the company is blacklisted in many states and has been fined by the Supreme Court. He pointed out that the company has failed in the past to ensure transparency and accountability in holding such exercises, due to which many states have banned it.
He further added that the government has already scrapped many recruitment processes on the grounds of doubts and allegations. Now, if APTECH is holding the exams for JKSSB, there is a chance that it might get scrapped again since it has a poor transparency record. Therefore, before anything goes wrong, the government must reconsider its decision and choose a better option.
Nizami stressed that the government must show sincerity in its efforts towards the youth, given the alarming rise in unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the government to take a serious note of the matter and address it as soon as possible.
The DPAP’s concerns over the selection of APTECH company for conducting JKSSB exams have raised questions about the transparency and accountability of the recruitment process. It remains to be seen whether the government will reconsider its decision and choose a better option or stick to its decision.
