NEET Result 2021: The National Testing Agency has announced the dates for the results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 examination conducted on 12 September. The NEET 2021 result is now available.
Candidates who appeared for the NEET 2021 exam are able to access their results on the official website – ntaneet.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
Candidates must keep their hall tickets handy as they will have to enter the roll number, date of birth to get their NEET UG to result in the form of rank and marks obtained

NEET 2021 Selection process in detail
To qualify for MBBS/BSD courses, candidates need to obtain a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those from the reserved categories including SC and ST category, the minimum marks are 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is 45th percentile. The NEET score is accepted in Indian colleges and institutes and as per the latest rule, NEET is also mandatory for Indian students aspiring to study medicine and related fields abroad.
Candidates who qualify for the counseling are those who are under 15 percent of all India quota seats. The NTA will forward the list of successful candidates to the DG of Health Services, the medical examination cell of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. While the NTA will be declaring the rank, the counseling will be done by the Ministry or the concerned college or university.
NEET Counselling details
The counselling for admission to the seats under the control of State
Governments/ UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions shall be
conducted by the designated authorities of the State Governments as per the
notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned.
NEET 2021 All India Merit List
An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis
of All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) – 2021 and candidates shall be
admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses from the said list only, with existing
reservation policy.
NTA will only provide All India Rank to candidates while Admitting Authorities will invite applications for Counselling and a merit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the Admitting Authorities.
Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on All India Rank as per merit list of NEET (UG) – 2021.
NEET UG All India Quota Reservation
Reservation in All India Quota seats shall be as follows:
- SC – 15%
- ST – 7.5%
- PwBD – 5% Horizontal Reservation
- OBC (Non- Creamy Layer)- 27 % Only in National Institutes/Central Universities
- EWS- 10% Only in National Institutes/Central Universities
