Eligibility & Criteria for JKSSB Teacher Posts Selection

• The candidate is required to be holding a Graduation degree from a recognized University.
• Those possessing five years’ integrated PG degree in one of these five subjects are also eligible to apply.
• There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit framed out of 100 points having 85 points for a multiple choice based written test and 15 points for preference to B.Ed/ M.Ed and higher qualifications.
• The said 15 points shall be awarded across the board as per the following break-up:

• There shall be negative marking (0.25) in the Multiple Choice Based written test. Only those candidates will get preference points who have entered the requisite qualifications in their form (by entering it in their profile before).
• If the same is not reflect in form, no preference points will be there, even if the candidate produces any such degree at a later stage.
• The exam may be CBT/OMR-based and will likely be held in the mid/ending of December 2021. Exact dates will be notified subsequently.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates need to apply online through JKSSB’s online Application Portal- www.ssbjk.org.in. No other means/ mode of application will be accepting.
2. After successful application, Candidates cannot edit their application after submission.
3. However, the candidate can cancel his application if wrongly filled, but the fee of such canceled application will not be remitted.
4. The candidate can then apply afresh and he/she will have to pay the fee again. Candidates can pay the fee through the following modes:
   • Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card (under Online Option)
   • Challan at J&K Bank branches

Centre of Examination:

examination separately. No representation/ request for change in this
regard shall be entertain, whatsoever be the reason.

Scheme of Examination:

1. The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
2. The questions will be set in English only.
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

How to Apply for JKSSB Patwari Vacancies?

The necessary instructions regarding filling up of online applications are given herein below: –

1. Candidates are required to apply online through JKSSB’s online Application Portal-https://ssbjk.org.in No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
2. The Candidates who have not registered earlier on the portal are first required to go to the said Portal and register themselves by clicking on the “Candidate Registration” link.
3. Candidates are required to have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number for registering and creating login credentials. The same shall be validated using OTP (One Time Password) based verification.
4. After creating a login credential, candidates need to log in with these credentials by clicking on “Candidate Login”. Candidate can update their information like mobile number, email id, and password from time to time, but cannot change their First Name, Last Name, and Gender.

Candidates can choose from 3 options, which are:

1. District Cadre
2. Division Cadre
3. UT Cadre

How to select preference for Class IV Posts.

If a Candidate wants to work in his home district or any other district then he/she needs to select the 1st option as (District),

Then Division and then finally UT.

and if he scores good in the class 4th written test, he will be allotted his Home District.

Similarly candidates who want to work in division cadre posts, they also need to follow same rule, choose/ select the 1st option as (Division).

And the same rule applies for candidates who want to work in UT Cadre posts, they can choose/select UT as their 1st option.

Speaking honestly all 3 cadre have their own benefits, such as:

District Cadre employees can come to their homes at night.

They can meet their family and friends when ever they wanted.

And as per sources on internet District cadre employees will get less amount of salary as compared to UT Cadre.

Similarly a Division and a UT Cadre employees will have to stay at any rental room and have to prepare every stuff by their own,

they will stay away from their family and friends most of the time.
