JKSSB Draftsman (Civil) Document Verification 2023: PDF List Released

Jammu and Kashmir, October 9, 2023 – The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently released the result/score-sheet of candidates who appeared in the OMR Based Written Examination held on September 24, 2023, for the post of Draftsman (Civil) in the Jal Shakti Department. The vacancies, advertised under Item Nos. 05 and 06 in Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023, Divisional Cadre Jammu/Kashmir, have led to the initiation of the Document Verification process.

According to Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/64/2023-03 (7263602) dated October 8, 2023, candidates falling under the consideration zone, as mentioned in Annexure-A of the notification, are required to appear for document verification. The verification process is scheduled to take place from October 16, 2023, to October 19, 2023, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The verification will be conducted by the designated Document Verification Committee of the Board.

Candidates in the Jammu region are to report at the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, Divisional Office, Sehkari Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, whereas those in the Kashmir region are expected to report at JKSSB, Central Office, ZamZam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar.

Candidates are required to bring the following original documents/certificates in original, along with two self-attested copies, before the designated Document Verification Committee:

  1. Copy of Online Application Form(s).
  2. Two passport-size recent color photographs.
  3. One original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.).
  4. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Marks card).
  5. Valid Category Certificate, if applicable.
  6. Domicile Certificate.
  7. 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma.
  8. Two-year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from any Government-recognized Institute.

It is crucial for candidates to adhere to the schedule and present themselves before the Document Verification Committee on the specified dates. Failure to appear before the committee on the scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of the candidate’s right to selection.

Jammu & Kashmir, October 9, 2023 – The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the much-awaited results for the Junior Engineer (Mechanical) position in the Public Works Department (PWD) of the Union Territory. The written examination for this post, advertised under Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2022, under Item No. 202, was conducted on October 1, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results on the official website of JKSSB.

The JKSSB issued the provisional answer key on October 1, 2023, through Notice No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/67/2023-03 (7271536). After carefully considering the objections raised by candidates, the board has finalized the answer key. The revised/final answer key was notified on October 12, 2023, under the reference number JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/67/2023-03 (7271536).

The results, indicating the performance of candidates in the written test, have been published as Annexure “A.” As per the official statement released by the board, being listed in the result/score sheet does not guarantee selection. Candidates must meet all other eligibility conditions as specified in the original advertisement. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has declared the result for the Urdu Qualifying Paper for the posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) and Patwari/Settlement Patwari. This announcement comes after the board advertised 110 posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) (Election Department), Item No. 99, and 01 post of Patwari/Settlement Patwari (DMRRR) through advertisement No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020 and advertisement No. 05 of 2022 dated 09.09.2022, respectively.

The board had previously issued an advance notice for the conduct of the Computer-Based Written Test (CBT) for these posts through Notice No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM/10/2022-04 (CC-7055504 ) dated 06.01.2023. The syllabus and scheme of the examination, including the Urdu Qualifying paper, were also notified through the same notice.

The CBT examination for the aforementioned posts was conducted on 07.02.2023. A total of 3723 unique candidates were scheduled to appear for the examination, out of which 2980 candidates participated.

As per the criteria outlined in the notification, the JKSSB has released the list of candidates who have qualified the Urdu paper for the posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) and Patwari/Settlement Patwari based on the CBT examination held on 07.02.2023.

Candidates who appeared for the examination and wish to check their results can download the name-wise PDF from the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board. The PDF will contain the names of the qualified candidates for the Urdu paper for the respective posts.

Calculation of Marks of SI – JK Police Answer Key

  1. JKSSB Sub Inspector Examination is a Multiple choice question test
  2. There are 150 questions. 
  3. The total marks for the examination are 120
  4. Each question carries one mark.
  5. A negative marking of 0.25 mark is done for every wrong answer and multiple answers to one question.
  6. Calculate the number of correct answers, Calculate the number of wrong answers and multiply with 0.25.
  7. Now, subtract the wrong answer score from the correct answer score.

JKSSB Sub Inspector(JKPolice) Document Verification

All such candidates who get provisionally shortlisted for Sub Inspector Posts in Finance Department of J&K need to appear for Document Verification before the designated Document Verification Committee(s) as per the date and venue.

The said candidates are required to appear before the Document Verification before the committee with the following documents in original, and

  • Copy of Online Application form.
  • D.O.B Certificate.
  • Reservation category certificate, if applicable.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Discharge Certificate, along with PPO number and Ex-Serviceman Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Certificate issued by the Competent Authority,
  • Other documents as per the advertisement.
  • Bonafide certificate on the format prescribed by the Board duly issued by the Controller /Principal of the concerned school/University in respect of candidates, who have obtained degrees from the school/University outside the State of J&K.
