JKSSB Document Verification for Various Posts released, Check latest notification

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently issued a significant notification regarding the Document Verification process for candidates falling under the consideration zone for the post of Senior Horticulture Technician in the Horticulture Department.

The JKSSB has issued a notification (Notification No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/06/2023-04) dated 28.06.2023, wherein the Result/Scoresheet of candidates who appeared in the CBT Examination for the post of Senior Horticulture Technician, Horticulture Department, Divisional Cadres, has been declared.

Indicating Order of Preferences Online

Candidates who find themselves listed in Annexure-A of the notification are required to indicate their order of preferences for various items through the official website of JKSSB (www.jkssb.nic.in). The online link for preference submission will be available from 28-07-2023 (04:00 PM) to 31-07-2023. To access the preference submission portal, candidates need to log in with their allotted Roll Number and Date of Birth.

It is crucial for candidates to provide their preferences correctly and comprehensively. Failure to do so may result in the Board making allocations on their behalf.

Document Verification Process

Apart from indicating their preferences online, the candidates listed in Annexure-A must also undergo a Document Verification process. This process is essential for the verification and scrutiny of their documents and certificates. The Document Verification is scheduled to take place on 31-07-2023 from 11.00 AM to 05.00 PM.

For Jammu-based candidates, the verification will be conducted at Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, Divisional Office, Sehkari Bawan Rail, Head Complex, Jammu. For Kashmir-based candidates, the verification will be held at JKSSB Central Office, Zam Zam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar.

Required Documents/Certificates

Candidates must produce the following original documents/certificates along with two self-attested copies during the Document Verification process:

1. Copy of Online Application Form(s).
2. Two passport-size recent color photographs.
3. One original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.).
4. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma / Marks card).
5. Valid Category Certificate, if applicable.
6. Domicile Certificate.
7. 10+2 Marks Sheet / Diploma, if applicable.
8. B. Sc Horticulture or B.Sc Agriculture with Horticulture as a major subject.
9. Bonafide certificate issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned Board/Institute for candidates who obtained their qualification from outside the UT of J&K.
10. Other documents as per the prescribed qualification mentioned in the Advertisement Notification.
11. Printout of preferences filled by the candidate through the online link.

Candidates should ensure that they carry all the required documents in their original form along with the specified copies for verification.
