The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board(JKSSB) has released the hall tickets for Computer Based Written Test, CBT on February 01, 2023. The JKSSB CBT admit cards have been released for the exams which are scheduled to be conducted in February. The exams will be conducted between February 6 and February 8, 2023.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an important notification regarding the document verification process for candidates who fall under the consideration zone for the post of Patwari in the Revenue Department. This article will provide you with all the necessary details, including the schedule, required documents, and guidelines, as per the official notification dated 19-09-2024.
The JKSSB has initiated the document verification process to ensure that candidates selected for the post of Patwari meet all the eligibility criteria as per the recruitment guidelines. This step is crucial in finalizing the selection of candidates who appeared for the OMR-based written examination conducted on 01-09-2024. The candidates were shortlisted based on their performance, and now they must complete the document verification process to proceed further in the recruitment process.
The candidates falling under the consideration zone for the Patwari post, Revenue Department, District Cadres, advertised through Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2021 under Item Nos. 455, 458, 464, 468, 471, 475, are required to attend the document verification. The result and score sheet for these candidates were issued by JKSSB via Notification No. JKSSB COEOEXAM(UT)/10/2024-04 (7434645) on 19-09-2024.
Candidates are advised to check Annexure “A” of the notification to confirm their status and verify their name on the list.
JKSSB Patwari DV Documents Required
All shortlisted candidates must physically appear before the designated Document Verification Committees at the specified schedule and venue. Below is a list of documents that must be presented in original, along with one set of self-attested copies:
Copy of the Online Application Form: Ensure that you have a printed copy of your online application form submitted during the application process.
Two Passport-Size Recent Color Photographs: These should be identical to the one uploaded with your application form.
One Original Photo ID Proof: You can bring any of the following – Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, or Passport.
Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Marks Card): This is essential for verifying your age.
Domicile Certificate: A mandatory document to prove your residency in Jammu and Kashmir.
Valid Category Certificate (If Applicable): If you belong to a reserved category, you need to produce a valid certificate as proof.
10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma: Your academic qualification at the higher secondary level.
Graduation Degree from a Recognized University: The degree must be from a recognized university, as per the eligibility requirements.
Bonafide Certificate: If your graduation degree is from outside the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, you must provide a Bonafide Certificate issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned university/institute.
Checklist Sheet/Form: As per Annexure “B” of the notification, you need to fill out and submit the checklist form during the document verification.
Order of Preferences for Various Items/Cadres: As per Annexure “C”, you must submit your order of preferences for various items and cadres during the offline document verification.
Other Documents: Any other documents that may be relevant or requested by the Document Verification Committees.
Key Guidelines for Document Verification
Schedule & Venue: The detailed schedule, along with the venue for each candidate, is mentioned in the notification. Candidates must strictly adhere to the schedule.
Mandatory Presence: Candidates who fail to appear before the Document Verification Committees on the scheduled date will forfeit their right to selection. There will be no further opportunity for document verification after the scheduled date.
Submission of Preferences: Ensure that your preferences for various items/cadres are submitted in offline mode to the respective Document Verification Committees.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday arrested Yatin Yadav, the alleged mastermind behind the 2022 Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak. The arrest is part of a money-laundering investigation.
Yadav was detained in Jammu under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), according to official sources. The JKSSB exam, held on March 27, 2022, was tainted by a leak orchestrated by Yadav and his network of touts from Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates paid between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 30 lakh for access to the leaked paper.

Now, therefore, in view of the above, the Result/Score-sheet, based on the performance of candidates who appeared in the Written Test for the post of Deputy Inspector/Equivalent, Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Division Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2022, under Item No. 143 & 144 conducted on 03.03.2024, is hereby notified as Annexure “A”
It is further notified that:
mere figuring in the result/score sheet shall not entitle a candidate to be called for document verification or figure in the select list and that he/she has to fulfil other eligibility conditions, as laid down and decision of the Board in this regard shall be final.

Go thoroughly the Syllabus and start your examination preparation, remember it is not late, you can still crack this examination and can figure in the Selection list. All you need to do is to understand the requirement of examination and then go through the recently held exam question papers of all posts, such as Sub-Inspector, FAA, Assistant Compiler. with this you will be be able to understand the level and pattern they follow for any examination.
Although Syllabus for some examination is pretty different but most of the syllabus does resemble for JKSSB recruitments, taking the example of General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, History of Jammu and Kashmir. These topics are almost familiar in all the examinations.
