The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted the Written Examination for the post of Data Entry Operator in the Election Department, as per the Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 under Item No. 098. The examination took place on 8th October 2023, and now, the Provisional Answer Key for the question paper (Series A, B, C, D) has been released. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key in PDF format to cross-verify their answers and evaluate their performance.
Important Details Regarding the Answer Key:
The Provisional Answer Key, available for Series A, B, C, and D, is provided in Annexure “A” of the official notification. Candidates are encouraged to carefully compare their answers with the ones provided in the answer key to assess their performance in the examination.

Submitting Objections:
If any candidate has objections or discrepancies regarding the answers mentioned in the provisional key, they have the opportunity to submit their objections/representations. Objections can be submitted in the prescribed format/proforma provided in Annexure “B” of the notice. Along with the objection form, candidates need to submit documentary proof/evidence substantiating their claims. The submission of objections requires a fee of Rs. 200/- per question, which should be paid through a demand draft in favor of the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board. This fee is refundable in the case of genuine/correct representations/objections.
Submission Process:
Objections and representations will be accepted only in offline mode. Candidates can submit their objections at the following locations:
- J&K Services Selection Board, CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu
- J&K Services Selection Board, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar
Candidates can submit their objections during office hours starting from 9th October 2023. It’s important to note that no objections or representations will be entertained after the stipulated period, or if submitted through any other mode.
Revision of Answer Key:
In the event that a submitted objection is found to be correct, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly for all candidates. However, individual candidates will not be informed about the acceptance or non-acceptance of their objections separately.
This provision ensures transparency and fairness in the examination process, allowing candidates to raise valid concerns about the answer key. It also reflects the commitment of JKSSB to conduct examinations with integrity and accuracy.
