Leh, Feb 05: The National Ice Hockey Championship was held in Leh, organised by the Ice Hockey Association India in association with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh at LSRC Ice Hockey Rink.
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson was the chief guest at the finals of the National Ice Hockey Championship 2023 played between ITBP and LSRC. Brig TPS Consel, HQ 14 Corps Fire and Fury; DIG ITBP, Commandant LSRC, General Secretary, IHAI and various other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, CEC Gyalson expressed elation over holding the National Championship in Ladakh. He shared that Ladakh holds immense potential in Ice Hockey and ice hockey players from Ladakh represent India at various international events.
He also congratulated Ladakh Scouts of the Indian Army for achieving glorious sixty years. To honour and commemorate the dedication and achievements of Ladakh Scouts, CEC Gyalson shared that LAHDC Leh is planning to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Ladakh Scouts in a grand manner in Leh district.
