The University of Kashmir has released the Updated Selection Notification No. 1 for admissions to Diploma and Certificate Courses (Distance Mode) under the Centre for Distance and Online Education. Candidates have been provisionally selected based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination.
Admission Guidelines & Required Documents
To confirm their admission, selected candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
- Submission of Original Documents:
- Marks card of the qualifying examination.
- Domicile certificate.
- Character certificate.
- Provisional certificate from the last attended institution (if applicable).
- Migration certificate (only for candidates not previously enrolled with the University of Kashmir).
- Eligibility Verification:
- Candidates must produce an eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form, along with the prescribed fee.
- Their eligibility conditions will be verified by the concerned department.
- Mandatory Affidavit Submission: Candidates are required to submit an affidavit sworn before a 1st Class Judicial/Executive Magistrate, confirming that:
- They are not enrolled in any other Distance/Open/Online Mode program (as per UGC regulations of April 13, 2022, candidates can pursue one regular and one distance/online course simultaneously).
- All the submitted documents are authentic and genuine.
- They will comply with the University’s rules and regulations.
- They understand that any misinformation, concealment, or misconduct will lead to cancellation of admission and possible legal action.
- They are submitting the affidavit of their own free will, without any external pressure.
Admission Process & Fee Submission
- Selected candidates must download their Admission Forms from the official University of Kashmir website (www.kashmiruniversity.net) by entering their Application Form Number.
- They should then report to the Director, Centre of Distance and Online Education, University of Kashmir, with:
- All original certificates.
- Self-attested photocopies of required documents.
- The admission form for online verification and acceptance.
